Our Work B at the Fairgrounds!

This past Wednesday, our club went to the Mqt County Fairgrounds and pulled staples from the horse stalls, finished up our project at the Horse Shoe, decorated the midway in the horse barn, and created our bench for the 4-H Youth Tent at the Fair! There were HUNDREDS of staples and there is a big thank you to those who help pull them all out! The Horse Shoe that you can see on your way down to the arena was first made by Alli G.'s granfather, Frank Zimmerman. This spring we restored it by donating and replacing two trees, laying mulch and painting the white bricks around the horse shoe. We decorated the midway in the horse barn with bios from the members of our club, pics from shows, camp, horse bowl, and just our club hanging out! It looks great!!! Lastly we made our beautiful bench for the tent and it represents our clubs love for horses very well!! The last pic you will see is us standing in front of the new exercise pen. We donated $110.00 for the project!  Once again a BIG thank you to everyone that came out to help. Our club is not only about horses, but also includes doing service for our community. Here are some pics:)
